For Christmas Lena wanted a princess doll castle. When I looked into buying it I was surprised by how much it cost and then when I read reviews that all said the pieces break pretty easily, I was not too excited to buy it. So I decided to make one myself. I bought this bookcase at the thrift store and turned it into a doll castle. I had a lot of fun doing it and Lena absolutely loves it. Just don't tell her that mommy made it because you know she asked Santa for it.
I am just now seeing this. It is awesome!!! Way to go! And, I'm sure it is more sturdy than the ones you could have bought!
