Construction/Dump Truck 2 year old Birthday

For my little man's birthday I did a construction/dump truck theme.  First I made him a birthday shirt.  I cut out the image of a truck on a piece of cardstock, then set it on the shirt while I sprayed fabric spray paint on and around it.  It was super easy, but I think it was perfect for the look I wanted.

For his cake I just did a chocolate circle cake with chocolate frosting.  Then I used crushed oreos and Heath bits as dirt and some little toy construction trucks on top.  I really love the way it turned out.

Since he is turning two I didn't throw a huge, full blown party, but we did have a couple friends come over for a playdate.  I set out some of Thayne's favorite snacks and fun themed names for them.  They had some sticker sheets they could do, but mostly just played in the dirt. :)

Easter clothes

For Easter this year I went all out. I made Lena a dress, Landon a vest and bow tie and Thayne a tie and suspenders.  I let Landon pick between him and his brother who got which kind of tie and who got suspenders or vest.  I think he was more excited to wear them because he had some say.  And of course Lena was thrilled to wear her pretty dress. I am very happy with how they turned out.

Big Boy Pajamas

This kid has been growing out of his pajamas like crazy.  We have had to toss out 3 or 4 pair in the last few weeks.  So I whipped him up another set.  Other than almost putting a needle through my finger, it was a snap. haha  Luckily I just took off the very tip of my finger.  Landon is happy with his new jammies that actually fit. yay!

St. Patrick's Day Truffles

Truffles!  So yummy!

These are so easy and so good.  All they are is a box of mint chocolate cookies crushed and mixed with a package of cream cheese.  Roll them into balls and put them in the freezer.  Once they are frozen, dip them in melted chocolate and refreeze.  Then drizzle with green chocolate and keep in the refrigerator.  Enjoy!

Paper Bag Book

This is one of my favorite things to do for showers, it works well as a guest book/best wishes book.  They are just so simple and cute.

Others I've done  1, 2, 3.

Baby shower game

I put together a game for my friend's baby shower.  It's one of my favorites, a candy bar matching game. I used a big piece of cardboard and paper.  I printed pictures of the candy bars and the matching words. Then put pieces of scrapbook paper with numbers on top of them. I was sick for the shower so I didn't actually get to see it played. I hope it worked. ;)

Onesies

One of my good friends is about to have a baby girl and for her baby shower I wanted to embellish some cute onesies for her.  I was going to help do the shower, but I got crazy sick and couldn't go. :(  I think they used these onesies and some others hung with clothespins on a ribbon as a onesie banner for part of the decor.
