Goal Accomplished
I've been working on this for a long time, a year actually. I made 52 baby blankets in 52 weeks, half boy and half girl. I made this goal last year as a long term service project for myself. In our stake the last couple of years (since we've lived here), each year they have done a baby bundles project where they make and collect baby items to bundle and give to local hospitals to give to moms that don't have anything for their new babies. I really love that project and that is what inspired this project. I haven't confirmed either way whether our stake is doing that particular project again, but it doesn't particularly matter to me how the blankets get to the babies that need them as long as they get there. Fortunately there are many organizations that help get blankets to babies that need them, so if we don't do that project this year I will just find another way to donate them. In any case I've really enjoyed doing these and it makes me happy to see them finished and ready to go to those little babies that need them.

Tie Rack
After I moved a lot of things on the walls from the baby room into Lena's new room, there wasn't much left on the walls. So, now I need to prepare the room for Baby Thayne. One thing that I did for Landon a couple years ago was make a tie rack (linked here), so I did the same thing again, for Thayne.

Butterflies and such
I've been working on some things for Lena's new room. I am trying to get it ready so that I can move her a little before the baby comes. I don't want her to think the baby is stealing her room, so I want to give her about a month in her new room before Thayne comes. But the room is not quite ready and I am not quite ready for my little BabyNa to be in a big girl room. Anyway, here are a few of the things I've been doing. I will show pictures of the whole room when I get it done (or done enough).
Painted a hand-me-down bookcase pink and painted butterflies on the side of it
Box for on the bookcase (you can see it in the pic of the bookcase too)
Hairbow hangers (Lena is getting quite the collection of hair clips)
Painted butterflies on one wall
Butterfly mobile
