I've done these pendants before, but only using scrapbook paper. See this link. I see silhouettes everywhere it seems. But I hadn't done any yet. So, I decided to combine the ideas to make a mother's necklace using silhouette pendants.

Paper Bag Scrapbook
Baby Shower
My friend MaryAnn and I hosted a baby shower today for our friend Kimberly, who is expecting her second baby. It was a lot of fun to put together.
The food
We did a teddy bear theme so we had chocolate covered cinnamon bears, cinnamon bears,
chocolate covered gummy bears, gummy bears, teddy grahams, straw'bearies', and some other candies and fruit and dip. I made that banner.
We had this at the door so they knew which room we were in. It had the papers for our first couple of games (one of the games was guessing the candies in the jars). I also arranged those flowers (they were left over from my sister-in-laws wedding last week shhh don't tell).
We decorated with teddy bears all over the place.
These were the invitations - but I smudged out personal information.

Landon's Tie
The only article of clothing I got to make of our wedding apparel for Alicia's wedding was Landon's tie. They bought everything else. The tie was kind of a pain and I ended up redoing it three times and even then it still wasn't the right length, but they had a vest for him to wear, so it didn't really matter. Here it is. It is actually a really easy pattern, I was the problem. As always, if you have any questions or want me to explain how to make it, let me know!

For Primary
Our primary presidency has a fantastic idea for the senior primary spotlights. They are sending this bag "Valiant ME bag" home with a child each week and having them bring it back with a few items to show that tell about themselves and also with a story or something about how they have been valiant that week. I am good friends with the secretary and she asked me if I could do something to decorate it. We considered having iron-ons or applique. When I got home with it I decided to try just hand stitching. This is what I've got. Do you think the kids will like it (enough that they will think it is fun to bring home)?

Green & Pink
Green is my favorite color, it has been for a long time. Before that my favorite color was pink and it is still my second favorite color. I love them each individually and I especially love these two colors together. I am a fan of baby pink and light sage green together (hence the colors of Lena's bedroom) and I am a fan of lime and hot pink together. I also like other combinations. Hence, Lena has a number of clothing items these colors. So, to add to the collection:
Okay, it is about a million sizes too big, but hey, she will grow.
