A new dress for the Princess

This was one of those, "I have such a great idea in my head, but how do I actually make it?" dresses. I pretty much just made it up. However, that did lead to a variety of complications. At one point I was just going to give up and make her a dress from a pattern. But I told my ingenious mom about it and she told me how I could fix it. She is amazing! So here it is - Lena's dress for my brother's wedding in March.

Lena loves it!
Well, mostly she loves pulling it up, playing with it and putting it in her mouth.

  7. Joylyn,
She is such a doll! Love how sweet she looks in the 1st picture! Now hopefully she doesn't have a growth spurt & out grow it in the next month. :) See you tomorrow at Music Makers! Can't wait to see her in the NEW bows! ~Robin

  10. Do you give sewing lessons? I am staring at my sewing machine, trying to work up enough motivation to just do Nathan's mending. What a lucky princess.
