Yellow Dress

This is another dress test pattern I did for peek-a-boo pattern shop. I am thinking of using it maybe for more of a swimsuit coverup or something.

small tote bag

This little tote bag was originally supposed to be a scripture bag, but it is a little too small. So it is just a little bag for Lena. She loves it, so I am kinda glad it turned out the way it did. I also think I learned a few things from making it, so if I tried again I could probably make a scripture bag. Maybe one of these days, if I get the time.

onesies

My sister and her husband recently got selected to adopt a baby boy due toward the end of April. We are all so excited for them! My sister asked if I would make her a baby onesie that said "I love my birthmom," which I was more than happy to do! While I was at it I thought I would make a few other onesies too. They are so fun to make! I love how little tiny they are; so cute! It reminds me of how big my kids are getting. We are excited to get new nephews soon. It's just too bad we don't live near either of them. I just love babies!

pink giraffe

One of my good friends who moved away last year is about to have her first girl! I wanted to send her something little and girly as a congratulations. These little stuffed toys are one of my favorite things to make for babies and since my friend really likes giraffes, it was perfect. I think it turned out really cute. I hope she and her new baby like it too.

YW Birthday Value Chapsticks

I was so SO sad when I got released from Primary. It really was a spectacular calling. I will always love Primary. But my calling into Young Women's has been a wonderful opportunity. I am already learning so much and it is fun getting to know the girls better. I am sure I will learn to love it as much as I loved my Primary calling.

Plus it gives me new opportunities to be crafty. I really wanted to do something for the girls when they have birthdays, but I knew it couldn't be too involved or I may not be able to do it every time. So I searched www.sugardoodle.net and found this fun, yet simple idea. Once I got going I thought they were so awesome and really had fun. I made six, so I will be prepared for a while.

Twirl Dress

I recently had the opportunity to test this adorable little dress pattern for peek-a-boo pattern shop. It is a pretty typical twirl dress (tiered skirt), but I really like the straps. There are two over each shoulder that go through buttonholes in the front that you can tie in bows. You can also criss-cross or weave them in the back or just leave them straight. Normally I would dress Lena with a white shirt underneath, but since I was taking the pictures for the review of the pattern, I had her in just the dress.
